Library Fire, Life Safety, and Security System Installation
The new Peoria Public Library – North Branch is a 30,000 square foot facility housing state of the art library services that will extend to the northernmost areas of Peoria. The modern facility incorporates traditional library collections and meeting rooms with cozy reading areas including a large fireplace area and a trellis-covered outdoor patio. Exterior features of the building include a prairie savanna landscape, environmentally sensitive bio-swales, and walking trails through the Illinois native plant landscape.
Emergency Systems – Fire Alarm System
The fire alarm system installation project included an Edwards IO500 Fire Alarm System. It has Signature Series Smoke Detectors and Genesis Horn/strobe Signals.
Security Intrusion System, Security Access Control System
The security intrusion system installed here is a Bosch Security D7412 System with door sensors, motion detectors, and sirens.
The security access control system installed here is a Bosch Security AMC System with Proximity (Touch-less) Card Readers controlling door locking hardware.
